Free Wi-Fi at Natfly 2013

Free Wi-Fi available at Natfly. In order to assist pilots to gain weather and NOTAM information, Temora Shire Council have arranged for free Wi-Fi access for RA-Aus pilots.

Pilots may need to be near the Council hangar (as marked on the handout which will be available from RA-Aus HQ) in order to access the network. The password will be natfly2013freewifi.

Now is the time to start rummaging through your hangar or shed for all those unwanted aeronautical bits and pieces.

Those pre-loved items can be turned into cash at the Fly-Market hangar at NATFLY 2013 at Temora.

Anything of an aeronautical nature is welcome from a washer to a whole aircraft – we will do our best to sell it for you.

There are always plenty of buyers looking for bits you no longer need. You’d be surprised at just what people want or will buy.

And remember, this is a voluntary service to RA-Aus members by RA-Aus members.

So get going now and clean out your shed.

Natfly is an exciting event for all. To help us make Natfly happen, we will need lots of volunteers who are willing to put in a morning or afternoon. Check out the following list and see how you can become part of the team.

Head Marshaller 2012 Quincy Maxwell directs Adam Haswell

Marshallers who are prepared to put in a morning or afternoon as foot soldiers.

“Follow Me” Marshallers who can ride a motorbike, or have a quad they can use to escort aircraft to parking areas.

Drivers for the pilot shuttle.

There is an additional job needed, a forum coordinator for each of the two hangars over the Thursday 2pm-5pm, Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am to midday with breaks for lunch etc. This could be shared, but we need a person in attendance for the two hangars for forums, to make announcements, chase up the next presenter and to make sure the previous one finishes on time

One or two IT professionals who will be on ‘standby’ to assist presenters in getting their powerpoint presentations to work and to sort out any other technical difficulties.

All volunteers will be covered by RA-Aus insurance and are invited to use the Volunteer amenities for complimentary food and drinks.
